Apple Juice and Lots of It!

October 27, 2017

Apple juice production is in full swing and we now have lots available every
week. This is a taste sensation you won't want to miss! Our apples, filled with
ripeness to the core, are hand-selected and freshly pressed in small batches
to retain all the delicious flavour of this season of mists and mellow
fruitfulness. Why not place a regular order: 750 ml bottle for £3.30.

Bonus Pears are £2 per kg and Juicing Pears are a bargain at 50p per kg. Rajka and Herefordshire Russet apples are available this week.

Bonus Apples to add to your regular box

(fruit or veg) are £2 per kg.

The first hard frost will be upon us soon so we have picked the last of the
beans and cucumbers. Look out for green tomato news next week. As the
weather turns colder, more hardy crops are coming to the fore, such as
miner's lettuce - ready now.

Ready now (ask if you want some in your box): miner's lettuce, spring greens,
pak choi, sage, lemon balm, celery, leeks, chillies, cherry tomatoes, regular
tomatoes, Rajka and Herefordshire Russet apples, red and yellow
raspberries, kohl rabi, edible flowers, kale, cavolo nero, Oriental leaves,
spring onions, oregano, rosemary, Swiss chard, rainbow chard, chives and
rocket. The potatoes from west Cumbria are called Colleen.

Bonus offers to add to your regular order:
BONUS PEARS: £2 per kg
BONUS APPLES: £2 per kg
GENERAL BONUS BAG: Choose any item we supply (fruit or veg) and as
long as supplies allow, we’ll bring you a bag of it weighing more than you
would normally get for the price. £2 a bag. As long as we have the produce,
you can have as many General Bonus Bags as you like.
